Collaborating closely with our clients to achieve their fundraising goals, we reflected on the evolution of our companies and the impact we aim to have. This led to a clarified mission and a new brand: Alloy Fundraising (Alloy).
Our name, Alloy, embodies the belief that GrantScribes and Candy Berman & Associates are stronger together, much like an alloy that is greater than the sum of its parts. This principle extends to our partnerships with clients, reflected in our purpose statement.
We remain the fiercely loyal, candid, and supportive team of grants and events professionals you know. Our new brand more fully captures our identity and unique qualities.
Founded nearly 25 years ago by philanthropist and expert fundraiser Candy Berman, Alloy’s Event Practice specializes in creating events that convey and promote the culture and mission of nonprofit clients. With a keen eye for detail and budget, the firm manages multiple events, from high-level industry conferences to large dinners and galas, luncheons, and productions.
Committed to the vitality and health of the metropolitan Atlanta community, Alloy believes that strategic project management and fundraising events enhance visibility for community organizations and generate revenue for the greater good.
Alloy’s Grants Practice, originally established as GrantScribes 20 years ago by veteran fundraiser Shoshana Ben-Yoar, now includes a team of over 15 experienced consultants supporting more than 35 nonprofit clients across the Southeast and beyond. Most clients retain Alloy for ongoing annual grant support, submitting an average of 2-4 grant applications monthly.
Client relationships often span 5-10 years, highlighting the significant progress and success achieved through our partnerships with nonprofit organizations.
